Obituary for William "Bill" Robertson

Graveside Services for William “Bill” Robertson, 77, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Rock Hill Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating.

Mr. Robertson passed away October 9, 2021 in Tyler.

William Henry Robertson was born February 15, 1944 in Brownsboro, the son of Joseph Robertson and Ira Isabelle (Green) Robertson. He graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1962 and served in the United States Army from 1962 until 1965. Bill later graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1974 with an Associate Degree in Business Management. He was a carpenter by trade and spent over 40 years in the East Texas area specializing in home building. During his free time, he enjoyed writing, reading, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, V.C. “Sonny” Miller, C.L. “Moe” Miller and Thomas Robertson.

Survivors include wife, Anita Sue (Kolaczkowski) Robertson of Brownsboro; daughters, Tamme Johnson and husband Dale of Tyler, Tracey Barrentine and husband Bradley of Brownsboro; siblings, Donald C. Robertson and wife Brenda of Brownsboro, Emily “Sissy” Riddle and husband Joe of Canton, John A. Miller of Brownsboro, Ethel Holt of Brownsboro; grandchildren, Joshua Johnson and wife Randi, Jacob Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Ava Johnson, Ethan Barrentine, Emma Barrentine, Evan Barrentine; great-grandchildren, Maggie Johnson, Clara Johnson, Zoey Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Tuesday October 12, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler Texas, 75701.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the physicians and nurses with the Hospice of East Texas for the loving care they provided to Bill.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
