Obituary for Wayne Price Adair
Services for Wayne Price Adair, 83, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Leagueville Baptist Church with Terry Don Adair officiating. Burial will follow in Leagueville Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Adair passed away February 22, 2019 in Tyler. He was born March 12, 1935 in Brownsboro to the late Ebb Thomas Adair and Julie Mae Jones. He retired from the United States Airforce after serving honorably for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to go square dancing with his wife.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Margaret (Barton) Adair; and daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann (Hackney) Adair.
Survivors include his four children, Mitchell Adair of Tyler, Andra “Beddie” Young and husband Stephen of Arlington, Bobbie Garcia and husband Carlos of Seven Points and Charles Adair of Brownsboro; two siblings, Ed Adair of Palmer and Joice Price of Palmer; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Leagueville Baptist Church.
Funeral services were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
