Obituary for Wanda Jean Watson (Huckabee)
Funeral services for Wanda Watson, 82, of Chandler, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 3 , 2022, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Welch officiating. Interment is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Farmersville under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Watson passed away on February 22, 2022, in Chandler.
Wanda Jean (Huckabee) Watson was born April 11, 1939, in Hamilton, the daughter of John Myles Huckabee and Alice Elizabeth (Shipman) Huckabee. She graduated from Hamilton High School and spent much of her life as a homemaker. Wanda was a member of the West Lake Baptist Church of Chandler and was a talented seamstress. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Cleva Watson, and brothers, John Huckabee, Jr., Jackie Huckabee, and Jerry Huckabee.
Survivors include son, Danny Rinehart of Chandler; siblings, Betty Garner and husband Jack of Hobbs, New Mexico, Jo Etta Hart of Big Spring, Vickie Watson of Big Spring, Jimmy Huckabee and wife Iwanna of Chandler; grandchildren, Kira Loerra and husband Victor, Shane Rinehart, Randy Harrington, and Kayla Grubbs, Patrick Harrington, Steven Valdez, Victoria Rinehart; great-granddaughter, Alice Rinehart and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
