Obituary for Ruth "Bunnie" Dunham (Kuzma)
Memorial services for Ruth “Bunnie” Dunham, 93, of Chandler, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home, with Dr. Shaun Black officiating.
Mrs. Dunham passed away on February 6, 2023, in Tyler.
Ruth (Kuzma) Dunham was born on September 16, 1929, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Kuzma. She graduated from Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, New Jersey, in 1947 and married Arthur Howard Dunham on September 15, 1951. Bunnie was a teacher’s aide for 20 years at Rockwall Elementary School. She was an excellent Hungarian cook, an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and loved all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Bunnie had a pure heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she impacted.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmom, Irene Kuzma.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Arthur H. Dunham of Chandler; children, Christine Dunham Zembower of New York, New York, Jeffrey Dunham and wife Susan of Edgewood; grandchildren, Zachary Zembower of Montclair, New Jersey, Jennifer Dunham of Rockwall, Heather Seay and husband Dean of Edgewood, Brooke Keith and husband Josh of Canton; and great-grandchildren, Audri Dunham, Connor Seay, Carson Seay, Carter Seay, Jaxon Keith, and Caroline Keith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas 75701.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
