A memorial service for Roy Johnson, 59, of Flint, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Lakeside Church of Christ with Eli Crow officiating.

Mr. Johnson passed away February 26, 2021 in Flint.

Roy Adrian Johnson was born December 18, 1961 in Liberty, Texas, the son of John R. Johnson and Wanda Sue (Parker) Johnson. He was a member of the Lakeside Church of Christ in Flint and was self-employed- working various jobs throughout his career including a computer technician and an A.S.E. certified automotive technician. Roy had a true love of the outdoors which began at an early age as he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and carried on throughout his adult life as he enjoyed being in the mountains of Colorado camping and hiking. He was also a talented artist with amazing airbrushing and woodworking abilities. Roy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include wife, Lea Johnson of Flint; children, Logan Johnson of Tyler, Douglas Johnson of Flint, Alyssia Johnson of Flint, A.J. Johnson of Texarkana; siblings, Jan Johnson of Flint, James Johnson of Waco; niece, Becca Lee; nephew, Drew Cotton and numerous cousins.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
