Obituary for Perry Joe Coulter
A memorial visitation for Joe Coulter, 60, of Tyler, is scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2020 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Coulter passed away December 7, 2020 in Tyler.
Perry Joe Coulter was born April 24, 1960 in Henderson, the son of Gene Coulter and Chattie (Wicks) Bledsoe. He served in the United States Army from 1978-1983, achieving the rank of sergeant before being honorably discharged. Joe was a member of Life Point in Tyler and enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing horseshoes and being around people. He especially loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who knew him as “Poppi Joe”.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include wife, Sherry Coulter of Tyler; children, Chris Coulter of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, April Coulter of Tyler, Katie Gerety and husband James of Tyler; siblings, Gene Coulter, Derrell Bledsoe, Jr., Lisa Bledsoe; grandchildren, Shelby Coulter, Kiersten Coulter, Kaelynn Coulter, Carter Gerety, Emma Gerety, Ellie Gerety and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family
