Obituary for Patricia Ann Blair

Funeral services for Patricia Blair, 80, of Tyler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Canal officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Ms. Blair passed away peacefully, June 3, 2021 at her home in Tyler.

Patricia Ann (Johnson) Blair was born October 2, 1940 in Bismarck, North Dakota, the daughter of Clifford Julius Johnson and Ruth Barbara Mildred (Meyer) Johnson. She was a member of Tyler Christian Fellowship where she previously volunteered with the Outreach Christian Fellowship program and participated in mission trips. Patricia also volunteered with the Runaway Hotline in Houston for troubled teens and would oftentimes open up her home to get children off the streets. She enjoyed crocheting, sudoku and outdoor yard work. Patricia will be remembered as everybody’s mom- loving, kind, generous and a true caretaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Johnson.

Survivors include children, Terry Davis and wife Marilyn of Dickinson, Danny Davis and wife Katie Armstrong of Houston, Larissa Hippe and husband Chris of Tyler; brother, Kenny Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, T.J. Davis, Kami Davis, Cody Davis, Jaxson Hippe, Taylor Wiginton and husband Brandon; great grandchildren, Callen Yates, Blayke Wiginton, Briggs Wiginton and her beloved dog, Zoey.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Choice Hospice and to Jan “Mimi” Eubanks for the loving care they have shown Patricia these past few weeks.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
