Funeral services for Nelda Norris, 90, of Chandler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Fulks officiating.
Mrs. Norris passed away December 26, 2020 in Tyler.
Nelda Jo (Tompkins) Norris was born September 25, 1930 in Brandon, the daughter of Harvey L. Tompkins, Sr. and Loutheree (Capehart) Tompkins. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Chandler and enjoyed photography as a hobby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William D. Norris; and siblings, Larry Tompkins, Martha Rushing and Bob Tompkins.
Survivors include siblings, Janie Richardson of Chandler, Bill Tompkins and wife Clovis of Chandler, Harvey L. Tompkins, Jr. of Chandler, Pat Thompson of Arlington and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
