Services for Martha Nell York, 94, of Tyler are scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Rev C.W. Goforth and Ramiro Sandoval officiating. Interment will follow at Cathedral in the Pines in Tyler under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Martha passed away July 23, 2019 in Tyler. She was born November 4, 1924 in Tyler to the late Thomas Frank Morriss and Lula Cedonia McLean. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Tyler.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard York; son Joe D. Ray; daughters Sheila Passmore and Barbara Jean Ray; sister Margaret Terry and brothers Jake Morriss and Bud Morriss.
Survivors include daughters, Judy Gail Brady and Ronny of Tyler, Sue Scroggins of Arp; nine grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 6-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
