Obituary for Lois Anita Kidd
Services for Lois Anita Kidd, 87, of Chandler are scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Chandler First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bryan Harkness officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kidd passed away July 21, 2019 in Chandler. She was born March 4, 1932 in Turnersville to the late Vance Cullen Dollins and Allie (Brim) Dollins. She was a member of the Chandler First United Methodist Church and attended the Covenant Sunday School Class. Lois loved to travel and spend time in God’s creation.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, George Brinkley Kidd; and brother, Charles Dollins.
Survivors include daughters, Brita Wright of Chandler, Betty Ward and husband Ricky of Georgetown and Julie McCullough and husband Kornpop of Chandler; sister, Fay Nobles of Chandler; brother, John Dollins and wife Pat of Sugarland; grandchildren, Joshua McCullough and wife Diane of Canton, Kaylene Sullen of Georgetown, Adam McCullough and wife Katy of Tyler, Kristin Sweatt and husband Bryant of Fort Drum, Watertown, New York, Phillip Ward and wife Katie of Georgetown and Logan McCullough and wife Monica of Tyler; and 17 great grandchildren with one due in October.
Pallbearers will be Joshua McCullough, Adam McCullough, Logan McCullough and Phillip Ward.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 6-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
