Obituary for Linda Carol Carriger (Hicks)
Graveside services for Linda Carriger, 66, of Chandler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2023, at Chandler Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carriger passed away on February 22, 2023, in Tyler.
Linda Carol (Hicks) Carriger was born on April 8, 1956, in Sweetwater, Texas, the daughter of Carl Dean Hicks and Dorothy Jule (May) Hicks. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1974 and attended Odessa College for cosmetology. Linda was a homemaker, an animal lover, and a corvette enthusiast and enjoyed playing computer games and being on social media. She was caring, compassionate, headstrong, and loved her family with all her heart. Linda will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ricky Hicks.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Carriger of Chandler; her children, Leslie Strange and husband Carl Lindsay of Odessa, Lindsey Strange of Odessa, Anthony Thomas Carriger of Chandler; her brother, Bobby Hicks of Gardendale; and her grandson, Evan Lindsay of Odessa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
