Obituary for Larry Gene Cunningham Sr.
Graveside services for Larry Cunningham, Sr., 69, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Concord Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Cunningham passed away September 24, 2021 in Athens.
Larry Gene Cunningham, Sr. was born April 13, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Earnest Leroy Cunningham and Betty June (Briggs) Cunningham. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after working for more than 30 years. Larry enjoyed trail riding on his side by side and being with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joan (Kinealy) Cunningham.
Survivors include children, Larry Gene Cunningham, Jr., Stacey Carlile and husband Tracy; siblings, Leroy Cunningham, Danny Cunningham, Rebecca Dowell, Marvin Cunningham, Melvin Cunningham, Garry Cunningham; grandchildren, Austin Cunningham, Chase Cunningham, Keegan Cunningham, Ashley Carlile, Tiffany Meza, Colton Carlile; great grandchildren, Levi Cunningham, Payson Cunningham, Kain Meza and Olivia Meza.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
