Obituary for Karen Lynn Bradley (Roquemore)

Karen Bradley, 76, of Chandler, passed away on February 2, 2021 in Chandler.

Karen Lynn (Roquemore) Bradley was born December 14, 1944 in Dalhart, Texas at the home of her maternal grandparents’ due to the inability to travel to the nearest hospital because of poor weather conditions. The daughter of Leonard Horace Roquemore and Mavis Hope (Hailey) Roquemore, Karen grew up in Dalhart in the home she was born in along with her mother and two siblings. She married Jack Lynn Bradley on November 2, 1963 and from this union gave birth to the light of her life- daughter Kasey Lynn Bradley Wheeler who was born August 12, 1966. Anyone who knew Karen knew she had a heart as big as Texas, especially when it came to her family and friends. She had a strong inner faith that kept her persevering through some difficult times. In two years’ time her husband and daughter passed away, her health was failing her and she had to leave her home, but faithfully she did what had to be done. Karen left behind a legacy of love, selflessness and peace.

Karen was preceded in death by her mom, Mavis Hope Roquemore; her husband, Jack Lynn Bradley; her special angel daughter, Kasey Lynn Bradley Wheeler and her sister-in-law, Freddie Bradley.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and David Lawyer of Chandler, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Teri Roquemore of San Angelo, Texas; brother-in-law, Tilman Bradley of San Angelo; 11 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews and two great-great nephews as well as several very special cousins and friends.
