Obituary for John Luther Cooper
Services for John Cooper, 54, of Chandler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Interment will follow at Chandler Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Cooper passed away September 26, 2021 in Chandler.
John Luther Cooper was born September 12, 1967 in Orange, the son of Charles Allen Cooper, Sr. and Eva Nell (Weeks) Cooper. He worked as a carpenter for Big and Little Construction and enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and collecting train sets. John never met a stranger, always had a sense of humor and gave the greatest advice. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and best friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include wife, Jessica Cooper of Chandler; children, John Wesley Cooper and wife Paige of Chandler, Hannah Cooper of Weatherford, Macade Cooper of Chandler, Mikey Cooper of Chandler, Colten Cooper of Chandler, Briley Cooper of Chandler; siblings, Phyllis Passmore and husband Dave of Gladewater, Charles “Coop” Cooper, Jr. and wife Janie of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Paisley Hardin, Huxley Hardin, Wiley Cooper and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Weeks, Evan Christian, Dee Evans, David Messer, Corey Cooper and Ryan Ditson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
