Obituary for Jeffery Glen Lackey
Jeff Lackey, 50, of Brownsboro, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 11, 2020.
He was born to parents Lillie Belle (Aaron) Lackey and Calvin Wendell Lackey on September 30, 1969 in Athens, Texas. Jeff graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1988. Jeff was a father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, spending time with family and friends, and listening to Hank Williams Jr. Jeff was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. For the last four years, Jeff was a truck driver for Joey Ridgle’s Septic Service.
Jeff is survived by his parents; his three children, Dustin Lackey and wife Danica of Chandler, Colton Lackey and wife Katherine of Whitehouse, and Jessica Lackey of Bullard; brother Ricky Lackey of Chandler; sister Misty McLean and husband Dustin of Fort Stockton; nephews Aaron Lackey, Bryce Lackey, Colby Scott, and Ryan Lackey; niece Ashleigh Scott; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services for Jeff Lackey are scheduled for August 7 at 2 PM at the First Assembly of God in Brownsboro.
