Obituary for Gloria Alderman
Funeral services for Gloria Alderman, 65, of Chandler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Frankie McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Alderman passed away December 7, 2020 in Tyler.
Gloria Madelyne (Nation) Alderman was born November 15, 1955 in Point, Texas, the daughter of Willie Winfred Nation and Mary Madelyn (Daugherty) Nation. She was a dedicated member of the Forest Grove Baptist Church and also volunteered at God’s Open Hands in Chandler. Gloria was a talented cook, enjoyed crocheting and loved plants. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who always put others first.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband of 44 years, Tom Alderman of Chandler; sons, Willie Alderman of Chandler, Jeff Alderman of Chandler; siblings, Ricky Nation and wife Kim of Chandler, Michael Nation and wife Kathy of Idaho; grandchildren, Kaily Alderman, Brooke Alderman and Gaige Alderman.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Alderman, James Busby, Michael “Bubba” Feagin, Sr., Shawn Fuller, Jimmy Alderman and Jeff Barnes.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
