Obituary for Gerald Don Fowler
Graveside services for Gerald Fowler, 85, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Liberty Cemetery in Van Zandt County with Bro. Ron Moore officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Fowler passed away March 5, 2021 in Tyler.
Gerald Don Fowler was born January 11, 1936 in Dallas, Texas. As a young man, he served in the United States Air Force for six years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Brownsboro and retired from Ensearch after 20 years. Gerald enjoyed working with cattle, farming and traveling. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Jean Armstrong; sons, Michael Dodd, Keith Dodd and great grandson, Travis Buford.
Survivors include wife, Fern Fowler of Brownsboro; son, Wayne Dodd of Tyler; sister, Sandra Siddell of Garland; granddaughters, Lisa Dodd, Amber Dodd; great grandchildren, Branson Dodd, Kaylin Graybiel, Jaci Graybiel, Jordan Buford and great great grandson, Bentley Miles Dodd.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
