Obituary for Franklin "Danny" Pilgrim
Franklin "Danny" Pilgrim, 84, of Brownsboro, Texas, passed away at home on January 27, 2019. He was born January 30, 1934, to the late Tollie Lee Pilgrim and Bobbie Warrick Pilgrim.
He graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1953. Then graduated from the Federal Business College of Tyler. Danny served in the US Army from 1956-1958. Returning to Tyler he worked for Cotton Belt Railroad. He later worked for Kelly Springfield Tire Company retiring after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann of 63 years; sons, Danny Lee Pilgrim and wife Angela; Tommy Alan Pilgrim and wife Jan; brother, Tollie Lee Pilgrim and wife Rita; grandchildren, Christopher and Heather Campbell, Aaron and Heather Pilgrim, Katelyn Pilgrim, Brandy and Resse Parker and Hunter Pilgrim; great grandchildren, Natalie, Madison, Ava, CJ, Bryson, Brody, Bailey and Levi.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Willow Oak Cemetery, Pine, Texas, in Upshur County on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
