Graveside services for Marie Todd, 81, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Larissa Cemetery in Cherokee County, Texas. Services will be under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Marie went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 29, 2019 in Jacksonville, Texas.
Frances Marie Todd was born December 12, 1937 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of John Melvin Valois and Florence Eloise Hogue. She became a certified nurse’s aide, but her number one goal in life was to be a mother and homemaker. Her most treasured and valued accomplishment was that of being a mother. The only thing she treasured more in life was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was her all in all! Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed by all she knew and loved.
She is preceded in death by her mother Florence Eloise Hogue Valois; stepfather John Melvin Valois; stepbrother Melvin Raymond Valois and brother Bradley Truman Baker.
Marie is survived by her loving husband Claude Ray Todd; two sons, Allen Richard Todd and wife Elaine, Brian Dean Todd and wife Deanna; one daughter, Rayna Marie Todd Kerr and husband William Shane Kerr; five grandchildren, Sean Michael Todd, Alejandra Renee Perez, Crystal Hope Brianne Walker, Lauren Ashley Ortenzio, Haley Nicole Todd and seven great grandchildren, Seth, Phoebe, Patrick, Aurora, Roxanne, Liam and Abby.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family of Chandler.
