Visitation for Floyd Dixon, 87, of Tyler is scheduled from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Dixon passed away on August 20, 2020 in Tyler.
Floyd Wilburn Dixon was born May 17, 1933 in Sherman, Texas the son of Floyd William Dixon and Frances Marie Dalton. He attended West Lake Baptist Church. During his early years he attended Austin College and also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Floyd was a court reporter and retired in 2000. He loved cars and he was a Master Mason. He will be missed by all those who knew and cherished him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joyce Marie Kittrick.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife Beverly Dixon of Tyler; four children, Eric Dixon of Waco, Anna Lynn Dixon of Spring, Kevin Dixon of Apopka, Florida, Floyd Gregory Dixon of Tyler; grandchildren Ethan, Gavin and Mariluz.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
