A memorial graveside for Chris Claiborne, 51, of Brownsboro, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Echols Cemetery on Jennings Mountain, with Rev. Mickey Ellis officiating.
Mr. Claiborne passed away on April 5, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Eric Christian Claiborne was born July 8, 1970, in Tyler, the son of Eddie Wayne Claiborne and Judy Gaye (Parker) Claiborne-Porter. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran and currently worked as an industrial electrician with Waste Management in Sulphur, Louisiana. He enjoyed spending time at the ocean and will be remembered as a dreamer and a generous man who loved his family dearly. Chris was a remarkable son, brother, husband, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include wife, Christina Claiborne of Brownsboro; mother, Judy Claiborne-Porter and husband Milton of Brownsboro; sister, Allison Perry and husband Billy of Chandler; nephew, Jordan Perry and wife Traci of Trinity; niece, Macy Waggoner and husband Clayton of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Christian Perry, Annabelle Perry, Gatlynn Waggoner, Grayson Waggoner, Madi-Claire Waggoner, and his beloved dog, Skunk.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
