Obituary for Edna Marya Arnold (Dean)
Graveside services for Edna Arnold, 74, of Chandler, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Chandler Memorial Cemetery with Mike Prescott and Herb Bryant officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnold passed away on October 31, 2021 in Tyler.
Edna Marya (Dean) Arnold was born December 2, 1946 in Tyler, the daughter of Donald Fred Alexander Dean and Janie Evelyn (Hall) Dean. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1965 and was a long-time member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Edna worked for Community Hospital in Tyler for 15 years before working at ETMC for 28 years where she retired. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Smith and nephew, Jerrell Osborne.
Edna is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bob Arnold of Chandler; sister, Donna (Dean) Osborne and husband J.R. of Chandler; niece, Stephany Osborne of Chandler; great nephew, Luke Hamby and wife Baleigh of Lindale; great-great nephew, River Hamby; brother-in-law, Ray Brogdon and wife Sharon; sister-in-law, Jan Adair and husband Stephen as well as numerous other relatives, friends and her loving dogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Green Acres Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
