Obituary for Edith Hesteen Kaich (Brown)
Funeral services for Edith Kaich, 93, previously of Chandler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Kim Price officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Kaich passed away December 12, 2021 in Denton.
Edith Hesteen (Brown) Kaich was born October 4, 1928 in Garden Valley, the daughter of Thomas Olen Brown and Ethel Reaner (Kinard) Brown. She grew up in Tyler and was a homemaker to her children for many years before becoming a tax preparer. Edith loved yellow roses, enjoyed cooking and even had several recipes published in the local newspaper. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Elmer Warren Kaich, Jr., Leslie Warren Kaich and daughter, Paula Hesteen Mayfield.
Survivors include daughter, Sandy Price and husband Kim of Haslet; son, Wesley Kaich and wife Kathy of Cleburne; son-in-law, Sammy Mayfield of Tyler; grandchildren, Buddy Brisco and wife Tiffani, Christopher Kaich and wife Shelby, Angie Jackson and husband Stephen, Sarah Price, Ranae Sanchez and husband Gene, Regina Shannon and numerous great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
