Graveside services for Dwayne York will be held at the Edom Cemetery in Edom, Texas on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
Dwayne Allen York, 79, of Brownsboro, Texas, passed away on June 2, 2020.
Dwayne was born on June 29, 1940 in Booneville, Arkansas. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. Dwayne had a heart of gold and touched the lives of everyone he met. Dwayne retired from Howard McKinney Millwork and was a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, birdwatching and spending time with his family.
Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Rena York, and brothers, Damon York and Dwight York.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Linda York of Brownsboro, his son Troy York and wife, Lisa of Brownsboro, his daughter DeeAnna Allison and husband, David of Tyler, his grandchildren Glenda Anderson and her husband Shane of Chandler, Samantha Stone and her husband Chad of Edom, and Shelby Olson and her husband Corey of Chandler. He is also survived by his sisters, Sue Land of Grand Prairie, Joy Nicholson of Arlington and Gay Price of Ennis, as well as many great grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home in Chandler, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
