Obituary for Dennis Lane Utley
Dennis Utley, 74, of Chandler, passed away on May 28, 2022, in Tyler.
Dennis Lane Utley was born July 19, 1947, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Clifford Melvin Utley and Mary Lorene (Evans) Utley. He graduated in 1965 from Ray Town High School in Raytown, Missouri and shortly thereafter enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served during the Vietnam era. Dennis spent 30 plus years working for Sheet Metal Local #68 in Euless, Texas. He was a proud member of the American Legion and during his free time enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a kind, family oriented man who will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darrell Utley, Donald Utley, and sister, Carol Utley.
Survivors include wife of 55 years, Connie Utley of Chandler; children, Denny Utley and wife Theresa of Red Oak, Brian Utley and wife Wendy of Richardson; grandchildren, Cody Utley, Rowdy Utley, Emerson Utley; great grandchildren, Tuff, Waylon.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
