Graveside services for Damon Adkins, Sr., 68, of Chandler are scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Concord Cemetery in Chandler.
Mr. Adkins passed away on August 20, 2020 in Chandler.
Damon Harold Adkins, Sr. was born July 25, 1952 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of William Charles Adkins and Evelyn Ruth Russell. His family and close friends will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Damon is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Sue Adkins of Chandler; two sons, William Charles Adkins and wife Wilma Cox of Harlan, Kentucky, Damon Harold Adkins, Jr. and wife April Tennille of Houston; six sisters, Sharon Meade, Brenda Fielding, Marlene Van Weiren, Kathy Ramirez, Annette Fowler, Tonia Staggs; two brothers, Haskell Adkins, Louie Adkins; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Noe of Harlan, Kentucky, Shannon Cox of Harlan, Kentucky, Dennis Cox (Bubba) of Harlan, Kentucky, Amanda of Harlan, Kentucky, Ross Clayton of Hawaii, Derrick Ishee of Overton, Birdie Linthicum of Henderson and eight great grandchildren, Aubrey, Cole, Miley, Zoey, Shelby, Jacob, Zander and Kylie.
Visitation will be held from 1-2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
