Carroll Harrison, 84, of Tyler passed away on August 9, 2020 in Chandler.
Carroll Ellis Harrison was born July 26, 1936 in Slocum, Texas the son of William Harrison and Mattie Click Harrison. He was a U.S. Army veteran who retired from working on Tug Boats in Palestine. Carroll was a great family man who will be missed by all those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mattie and William Harrison of Palestine; two brothers, Royal and Bill Harrison; son Kenny Black and granddaughter Brande Denson.
He is survived by his loving wife Virginia (Jennie) Harrison of Tyler; four daughter, Cindy and Carl Montrosse of Michigan, Rebecca Bowman of Tyler, Sherry Denson Sellers of Florida, Amanda Taylor of Tyler; five sons, Terry Barnes of Michigan, Gary and Denise Loden of Alabama, Billy and Deanna of Alabama, Tom and Sherry Black of Mississippi, Chuck Black of Michigan; brother Mike Harrison of Dallas; sister Vera Ayres of San Antonio; 30 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
