Obituary for Betty Lee McGaughey
A private funeral service will be held for Betty McGaughey, 82, of Tyler, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGaughey passed away April 12, 2020 in Tyler.
Betty Lee (Pair) McGaughey was born January 28, 1938 in Dallas, the daughter of Roy Monroe Pair and Evelyn Lee Gaston. She was an avid reader and published author who loved crocheting, crafts and making Christmas ornaments.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Carla Lee McGaughey.
Survivors include children, Roy Eugene McGaughey of Tyler, Chip McGaughey and wife Carla of Tyler and Kathy Nash and husband Joe of Chandler; grandchildren, Roy “Dwight” McGaughey, Denise McGaughey, Kelby McGaughey, Megan McGaughey and Kaylan Lee Santos and husband Eliu and five great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
