Obituary for Sue Robertson
Graveside Services for Sue Robertson, 73, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Rock Hill Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating.
Mrs. Robertson passed away January 18, 2022, in Chandler.
Anita Sue (Kolaczkowski) Robertson was born May 20, 1948, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Fred Carl Kolaczkowski and Elizabeth Bell (Eberhart) Kolaczkowski. She was a Chandler Tiger through the 7th grade and graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1966. Sue worked for Sprint for more than 20 years as a purchasing manager. She enjoyed cooking, playing card games and dominoes, and was a talented seamstress- oftentimes sewing bridesmaid and flower girl dresses for weddings. Sue was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of nearly 53 years, Bill Robertson.
Survivors include daughters, Tamme Johnson and husband Dale of Tyler, Tracey Barrentine and husband Bradley of Brownsboro; siblings, Douglas Kolaczkowski and wife Charlotte of Brownsboro, Nora Allsip and husband Wally of Brownsboro; grandchildren, Joshua Johnson and wife Randi, Jacob Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Ava Johnson, Ethan Barrentine, Emma Barrentine, Evan Barrentine; great-grandchildren, Maggie Johnson, Clara Johnson, Zoey Johnson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler Texas, 75701.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the physicians and nurses with the Hospice of East Texas and Chandler Nursing Center for their loving care.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
